Inspiration is (we might use the example) when God takes a blank piece of paper and uses men to write his words.
Preservation is when God takes those words already written and uses men to preserve them throughout the ages.

Psalm 12:6,7: "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
So by Verse 6 we know that the originals were perfect. They were inspired, they were pure words. But in Verse 7 it says "Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them f rom this generation for ever.

My absolute most favorite hymn of the faith ! No. 386, Believers hymn book.

Glory to Thee;
Thou Son of God most High.
All praise to Thee!
Glory to Thee,
enthroned above the sky,
Who died for me;
High on Thy throne,
Thine ear, Lord Jesus, bend
As grateful hearts
now to Thyself ascend.

Deep were Thy sorrows, Lord,
when heaven frowned—
Bloodlike Thy sweat, Lord,
Falling to the ground
So heavily;
Dark was the night,
but heaven was darker still,
O Christ my God!—
Is this the Father’s will?

Thorns wreathed Thy brow
when hanging on the tree,
Man’s cruelty!
Why lavish love like this,
O Lord, on me?
Thou lovest me!
Would that my soul could
understand its length,
Its breadth, depth, height,
and everlasting strength!

Thy precious blood was
freely shed for me
On Calvary
To save me from a lost eternity;
Glory to Thee!
Nor death, nor hell,
nor things below—above
Can sever me from Thy eternal love.

Like shoreless seas,
Thy love can know no bound;
Thou lovest me!
Deep, vast, immense,
unfathomed, Lord—profound,
Lord, I love Thee!
And when above,
my crown is at Thy feet,
I’ll praise Thee still for
Calvary’s mercy seat.

Genesis 6:14 - 16: "Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it."

Verse 14: "Make thee an ark". There are three arks mentioned in scripture; the ark of Noah, the ark of bulrushes, and the ark of the covenant. The ark of Noah sheltered Noah and his family from God's wrath. The ark of bulrushes sheltered Moses from the wrath of Pharoah, and the ark of the covenant sheltered the two tables of the law (the ten commandments). In these three arks we see a picture of the believer who is sheltered from God's wrath, Satan's assaults and the condemnation of the Law.
Verse 14:"..............of gopher wood". The ark was made, not out of steel, but of wood. This teaches us that "life comes out of death". Trees had to "die" in order that the "life" of Noah and his family were secured. We read that the Lord Jesus Christ was "a root out of dry ground". Therefore the whole lesson here is "Substitution", the "death" of one for the "life" of another.
Verse 14:"............rooms shalt thou make in the ark". Rooms here suggest "a place of rest" coming from the root word "Gen" meaning "nest". Rooms are a place of rest and in my Father's house are many mansions (resting places) where surely the redeemed shall have eternal rest.
Verse 14:"............and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch". Oh what a picture here! Pitch in Hebrew is the word "Kapher" and it means "to cover". A similar word in our new testament is "atonement" which also means "to cover". Our sins are "covered" by the precious blood of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. So the ark was covered within and without with pitch. So it is true of our "sin", covered within and without with the precious blood of the Lamb. Oh, what a book could be written on the word "Pitch".

Take a stand!!!!!

One of the scariest things in our present day is the definition of the term " All roads lead to Rome".
The origins of the phrase stemmed from the fact that, initially, all roads did lead to Rome.
The Romans were extremely skilled road makers...and the first to establish such a system of roads. They were also the first to use mile-markers.
The Romans designed their roads purposefully so that they all led to Rome, with Rome the central hub. This was done to hinder provinces from organizing resistance against the Empire.
While this is true all around us, there is a way of escape.for the born again blood bought believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. Open up your KJ Bible and be a Berean by testing all things by scripture to see if these things be so that is happening all around us. And "take a stand", but be sure of one thing, its going to cost you dearly. You will be excluded, shunned, criticized and mocked. It is the "narrow way", walk ye in it and before long we will be in the presence of the Lord.

“Thus saith Jehovah, stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein, and ye shall find rest unto your souls: but they said, We will not walk therein (Jeremiah 6:16). KJV.

"Come unto me"!!

15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
15:21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
15:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
Upon repentance,as we see in this narrative,we see the heart of our heavenly Father towards us who have lived in squaller, have lived in the pigsty of sin and rebellion. yet we see our Father seeing us afar off, filled with compassion, ever eager and ready to forgive.

Did you know that elephants are trained to stay where they are by tying a rope around one of their massive legs and attaching it to a peg in the ground? Can the peg and rope really hold back an elephant? Absolutely not!
Then why does it work? Because elephants grow up believing it will. Maybe they tried pulling away when they were young with no success. Maybe they were injured by their action. After enough failures, they stop trying. They no longer test the restraint, and confine themselves when tethered to the rope.
This object lesson can certainly teach us about adopting false biblical habits when only a babe in Christ. We assume, like the elephant, that the way we believe and do things can never be changed- we are holden of it.
All that mature elephant need do is lift his leg and the rope restraint will snap like a twig. We too, can read afresh the scriptures and just walk away in total victory. What are your restraints? Are they Calvinism, unscriptural traditions, the version debuckle, materialism , etc etc? You be the judge.

AGENDA 21: The Earth Charter, The Ark of Hope and the New World Order

The central message of the scriptures.

The False Gospel of Calvinism

"To seek and to Save"

"And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?" - Genesis 3:8-9 KJV

After the fall. Sin had entered into the world. The eyes of Eve and her husband Adam were opened, knowing both good and evil. Eve had disobeyed the voice of the LORD God, being deceived by the serpent. She ate of the tree that was forbidden, and gave to her husband, who also ate. The serpent had promised that "ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5). The age old promise of enlightenment. But the disobedience did not bring the enlightenment in a positive way, but in a negative way. They were made aware of their nakedness, and were filled with shame. They attempted to cover themselves with an apron sewn with fig leaves, and then hid from the presence of the LORD. Sweet fellowship was lost. Innocence was lost. Paradise, lost. Eve and her husband were no gods, but were naked and shamed creatures hiding from the LORD. They were lost amongst the trees of the garden, lost in sin. The LORD came to seek for them. The first thing that the LORD said to fallen Adam was "Where art thou?". Neither Adam nor Eve sought after the LORD. They hid themselves from His presence. He came to seek them.

The poor wise man !!

Ecclesiastes 9:14,15 "There was a little city, and few men within it; ;and there came a great kiing against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man"
In this two verse account there is a beautiful application of the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemption of mankind. Remember however, that this is an application only. Though everyone will not be redeemed, our Lord Jesus made provision for "whosoever will may come" Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"There was a little city" In our massive universe that God created, lies planet Earth, so small in comparison to the mighty universe, yet still is precious in His sight. The creator of the mighty universe has all things (large or small) always in His love and care. Matthew 6:30 "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Luke 12:6 "Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God."

Which are you???

There are only 2 types of people in the world. Those who are saved and those who are lost. These 2 types are clearly seen with the 2 thiefs that were crucified 2000 years ago. One was unrepentant and died in his sins, the other was repentant and was with the saviour in paradise that very day.
And notice, he was not baptized, notice, he did no good works but notice, he will spend eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ.
"It is finished"! The work of redemption was done by the shedding of the saviours blood. What is our part?
See your utter sinfulness and your current destination- hell, and turn by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ as did thief no. 2.

Day of judgement !!

All is still, heaven is silent
As the mighty judge ascends the throne

The book of life is opened
As countless souls begin to hope

From the throne comes a voice like thunder
"depart, I know ye not."

For the names written in this book
Are the souls my blood has bought.

Faces turned as into that court room
Comes the very seed of sin.

He who was the saints accuser
Must face the charges against him.

With the fury of all the ages
That demon voice begins to cry

"Its not fair, I almost had you"
On Golgotha, I watched you die.

Then Satan begins to tremble
As his fate to him was known.

From the throne came the verdict
The lake of fire will be your home

And I see every knee is bowing
Every hand in honor is raised.

Every voice to Him is lifted
Thou art worthy, the Lamb be praised.

And I see every knee is bowing
Every hand in honor is raised.

Every voice to him is lifted
Thou art worthy, the Lamb be praised

Angels standing at attention
As the redeemed begin to sing

And heavens voice resounds the anthem
You are our Saviour, Lord, and King

You are our Saviour, Lord and King
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty.

The meaning of the names of the twelve sons of Jacob paint a wonderful picture of the believer, from conversion to his ultimate departure to meet the Lord.

The first son was born to Leah and was "Reuben" whose name means "See a Son". It was The Lord Jesus Christ who, by the shedding of his
precious blood, and his death on the cross, atoned for the sins of the world and now offers salvation to whosoever will come unto him.

The second son born to Leah was "Simeon" whose name means "Hearing". Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. One has too
"hear" the gospel message before he can call upon the Lord Jesus to save him from his sins.

The third son born to Leah was "Levi" and it means "joined". First was The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son, then we heard the message, then
after responding to the gospel call "we are joined" unto Christ. Forever linked with him for all eternity.

The fourth son born to Leah was "Judah" and it means "praise". What else flows from the lips of the regenerated sinner, but "praise" unto
our God for saving a wretch like me?

The fifth son, who was born to Bilhah, was "Dan" and it means "judging". Now we see the new believer continuing in the scriptures and daily learning of His great love and receiving the wisdom to "discern and judge" in spiritual matters. Oh what a different view of things we have now than
when we were yet in our sin.

The sixth son, born unto Bilhah, was "Napthali" and his name means "wrestling". Oh, by far, Christians are far from perfect. It is a growing
process. sometimes we shy away from the Lord's correction in our lives and we "do our own thing". We know what is "right" but we
do not want to give up all to the Lord's guiding. So we "wrestle" with the Lord. "No, not now Lord". But ultimately we know who wins this "wrestling" match. Phil 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

The seventh son, who was born to Zilpah, was named "Gad" . His name means "troop". The "troop" here is also rendered as an "assembled gathering". Yes, the Christian believer does not stand alone, he is encouraged in Scripture to "forsake not the assembling of yourselves together". Christians need each other.

The eighth son, born to Zilpah, was "Asher" and his name means "happy". A Christian can only be happy if he reads the Word of God daily and obeys all the Lord's admonitions contained "in the book". The comfort and encouragement of other believers adds to the "happiness" of the
Christian believer.

The ninth son was born to Leah, and he was "Issachar". His name means "hire or reward". Here we see the Christian active in the Lord's
service, seeing some fruit for his labour. Some dear soul may respond to the message of salvation. The Lord will "reward" whatsoever we
do in his name, whether now or in future glory.

The tenth son, born to Leah, was "Zebulon" and his name means "dwelling". Although we live here on planet earth, our real home is in
"heaven". This is our "dwelling place" and if we keep that in mind, the things of earth will "grow strangely dim".

The eleventh son, born to Rachel, was "Joseph" and his name means "adding". As we read in Acts 2:47 .......And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved". We can only plant the seed. It is the Lord who will make it grow. He is the "fisher of men" who
reaches unto all and beckons all to come unto him. He "adds" such as should be saved.

The twelfth son son, born to Rachel, was "Benjamin" which means "Son of my right hand". Here is the end of the story, the end of this
sojourn on earth. Forever and ever in the Lord's presence, seated as it were, at his right hand. Sons of God by adoption. But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12)

Surely if these sons were born in a different order this picture may not have made sense, but we know who wrote the greatest book of all time, and He never makes a mistake and is under control of all things.

Memories are made of this!

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Question for you

I have a question to ask which I want to suggest is the most important question of our lives. It is one we all think of from time to time but don’t necessarily answer in a satisfying way. The question is: "Where will I spend eternity?"
Jesus came to earth to reach people and settle this issue. Just as today, many people in Jesus’ time were deeply concerned about the afterlife and where they would spend it, but had no answers to the question. This is why many were so attracted to Jesus when He spoke. He provided answers. He provided the love that many were looking for along with an authority which could be trusted. He was not merely an unusually loving man, or a great teacher- He was God come as man and offered divine love with divine authority. If you have fears about God and your sins and don’t really know whether you are going to heaven, you should know that Jesus came to settle those questions for you. His answers are just as important today as they were back then.
It was the sinners Jesus came to reach. He said "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Luke 5:32). On one occasion, sinners drew near to Him and the religious people of the day murmured that Jesus "receiveth sinners and eateth with them." In fact, Jesus loved to have those who were sinners surrounding Him because He came to seek and to save them. Jesus spoke of carrying lost sinners back to God on His shoulders like a lost sheep. He also spoke of the great joy in heaven over the repentance of just one sinner. When the sinner is carried back, He will be with His loving God for eternity.
Yes, Jesus would love to carry YOU back to God on His shoulder if you would let Him. Jesus died on the cross for YOUR sins, making the way back to God, securing your place in heaven for eternity. If you will put your trust in Him, He will put you on His shoulders like a poor lost sheep and bring you back to God. Don’t be mistaken. You cannot get back to God on your own in any way. The bible says you are lost before God, in the fullest sense of the word, and unable to find your way back to Him. When someone is truly lost, they need someone to come and save them and bring them to safety. In the case of your soul, Jesus is the one who will save you if you let Him. HE will save you if you put your faith and trust in Him. He is a trustworthy, loving and powerful person who will provide salvation for you if you simply trust in Him. If He can perform miracles, heal people and raise the dead, surely He can save YOU from your sins and bring you back to God. He died a miserable death on the cross, providing a sacrifice for your sins as He bore all the judgment of God for you there. He rose from the dead, displaying God’s satisfaction with His life and death and assuring the validity of His message to us.

It matters not how religious you are or how good a life you have lived- the fact remains that you are a sinner and have need of a Savior. The bible says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Jesus said "repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15).
Won’t you turn to Him, dear sinner, and believe on Jesus as your Lord and Savior? He stands waiting to put you on His shoulder and carry you back to God and to secure your place with Him for eternity. He is the only way- the Father said "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him" (Matthew 17:5). Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). Turn from your sin to the only person who ever offered a gospel (good news) of salvation with such a power, love and authority- never before or since seen on this earth. Turn to Jesus- whose name means "Jehovah is Savior." Turn to Him, and your question will be answered- "Where will I spend eternity?" "These things have I written unto you who believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life" (I John 5:13).
